1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. Cookies allow the website to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time.
2. Our approach: minimum cookies, maximum respect
At GirlsApp, we use only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics tools linked to advertising (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, etc.).
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, our website does not need a consent banner — consent is not required for technical cookies (Art. 82 of the French "Loi Informatique et Libertés", ePrivacy Directive, Russian 152-FZ).
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| access_token | JWT access token for user authentication | 15 minutes |
| refresh_token | JWT refresh token to maintain the session | 30 days |
| csrf_token | Token protecting against CSRF attacks (double-submit cookie pattern) | session |
| girlsapp.locale | Stores your selected interface language (localStorage, not a cookie) | persistent |
All our cookies are set with the httpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax flags for maximum protection against XSS and CSRF attacks.
4. Third-party cookies
During registration and login, we load the hCaptcha widget to protect against bots. hCaptcha may set its own cookies for operational purposes. These cookies are under the control of Intuition Machines, Inc. and are governed by its privacy policy.
We do not use any other third-party cookies (no Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
5. How to manage cookies
Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies
Warning: disabling the cookies we use will make it impossible to use the Service (login will not work since authentication entirely depends on these cookies).

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. You will be notified of any material changes by email.
